Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry

A quick and easy weeknight stir-fry that's healthier and tastier than takeout.

Ingredients

  • Flank Steak: 1 lb, thinly sliced
  • Broccoli Florets: 4 cups
  • Soy Sauce: 1/3 cup
  • Honey: 2 tbsp
  • Sesame Oil: 1 tsp
  • Garlic: 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger: 1 tbsp, grated

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Place the sliced steak in a bowl and pour half of the sauce over it. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat a large wok or skillet over high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned. Remove from skillet.
  4. Add broccoli to the skillet with a few tablespoons of water. Cook until tender-crisp.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet and pour the remaining sauce over everything. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until the sauce has thickened.
  6. Serve immediately with steamed rice or quinoa.
